I established this in the original Encounters mod and will be going into this more so.

In ToB Alora voiced her problems with Edwin, him being an uppity ass, etc. For those who played the mod do you think that was a good idea?

Sorry to comment here against your asking. I have not played the mod, but I have played BG1.

I have to ask, if you mean by friendship a romance between Alora and Edwin

Alora and Edwin don't fit in my eyes. Really.

However I did not play the mod, so regarding that you may skip my opinion

I played the Mod, but I never got past the first Alora/PC talk, so I didn't see the Alora/Edwin things, sorry. However, Edwin should act like himself. I don't know how stable his friendship with Alora is, but knowing Edwin he wouldn't always be much comfort when someone voices his/her problems to it. If it really is too harsh, how about making a following talk in which Edwin apologises? Or rather, *tries* to apologise. lol

The new Alora/Edwin banters in BG1NPC were some of my favourites to write (along with the Alora/Kagain ones). So I'm definitely all for a continuation of their friendship! smile

That's the idea I got from reading their BG1 dialogues and listening to some of their soundsets. They are friends, from her point of view yes. From Edwins he may deny it but I think he likes her.

Edwin is friends with himself, first and formost. It would be funny if Alora treated him like Mazzy treats Valygar.

I can see Alora and Mazzy being more conflicting than buds. Mazzy trys to be the upstanding halfling citizen, a goody paladin and serious most of the time. Alora is goofy, plays jokes, steals and is some what annoying. Very Happy
